FramesXchange exists to reduce landfill while keeping buying and selling safe, transparent, and trusted.
To maintain a reliable marketplace, all listings must meet the minimum requirements below before they can be approved and made live.
These standards protect both buyers and sellers and help ensure every frame listed on FramesXchange is represented clearly and accurately.
Seller Verification Requirements
All vendors must provide:
- Full name
- Fixed residential or business address (PO Boxes are not accepted)
- Valid phone number
- Email address
- Government-issued photo ID matching the account details
This information is securely stored and used only for verification and marketplace protection.
Accounts missing verification details cannot be approved.
Minimum Photo Requirements
Each frame listing must include at least 4 clear photos:
- Front view of the frames
- Side view showing the frames resting flat (confirms alignment)
- Arm showing model code or branding (supports authenticity)
- Additional angle or case photo
Optional but recommended:
- Photo worn
- Lifestyle image
Listings without the required photo set will remain pending until updated.
Required Product Information
Each listing must include:
- Condition (new / excellent / good / worn)
- Colour
- Frame size (if known — otherwise state “unknown”)
- Material (if known)
- Any visible wear, marks, or notes a buyer should know
Clear information helps your frames sell faster and reduces disputes.
Shipping Requirements — Tracked Delivery Only
All items must be shipped using tracked delivery.
Sellers must:
- Ship within the required timeframe
- Upload the tracking number to the order
- Provide tracking confirmation to the buyer
Tracking protects both buyers and sellers and supports delivery confirmation.
Fees & Commission
FramesXchange operates on a simple commission model.
• FramesXchange retains 30% commission on each completed sale
• The remaining 70% is paid to the seller
• Commission covers platform hosting, payment processing, customer handling, and marketplace support
There are no listing fees or subscription charges for approved sellers.
Payment Release Policy
To protect both buyers and sellers, payments are released only when delivery is confirmed.
Payments are released when:
- Tracking shows Delivered
AND - 48 hours pass with no dispute raised
If a buyer confirms receipt earlier, payment may be released sooner.
Listings May Remain Pending or Be Rejected If
- Required photos are missing or unclear
- Product details are incomplete
- Seller verification is incomplete
- Authenticity concerns exist
- The item appears structurally damaged or unsafe for wear
